Ava August
Ava August was 14 when she performed at the Staples Center, Downtown Los Angeles in front of a SOLD crowd. They were the Los Angeles Kings were playing professional hockey. Ava's appearances on Los Angeles Dodgers Los Angeles Dodgers (professional baseball team) and L.A. Galaxy (professional soccer team) had to be cancelled because of COVID-19. Ava August was the youngest performer to appear on American Idol's 19th season in the age group of 15. Ava August was awarded the GOLDEN TICKER for her performance in the Audition Round. Following that, the Genre, Showstoppers, Duets and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava made it into America's TOP 10 for the year. Ava August sang on American Idol two original songs: Neighbor Boys as well as Ghost of You. Ava August also sang a tremendous duet with the internationally recognized celebrity Josh Groban. Ava August was 15 when she released her first single. Ava August released critically acclaimed single - Daybreak - which was accompanied by her very first animated music video. Daybreak, along with Tropical Surf Hour was broadcasted on KX93.5 FM on the morning of the 11/01/20. Daybreak also aired on 11/29/20 at 88.5 FM LA/OC. It was broadcast to an audience of eleven million Southern California listeners.
