Molly was raised in Pennsylvania. Molly began her professional stage career at the age of thirteen, at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. After that, she portrayed Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for the Barrymore Award. Molly reprised the role in the production when she performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. The show won her an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly was in Broadway in the 2004 production of Fiddler on the Roof. When she graduated at Princeton University, where she graduated with a B.A. on Religion, and joined the Triangle Club member, Molly went on to attend Princeton University. in Religion. While she was in college, Molly began her acting career as a character in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut.
